Item Description:

           Male and female singers sing solo one or more songs in Romanian. The creations are soldiers' songs (cântece de ostășie), war songs (cântece de război), longing songs (cântece de dor), satirical songs (cântece satirice), sorrow songs (cântece de jale), prison songs (cântece de detenţie) and folklorized romances. There are no musical instruments used. List of creations: 1. De când badea mi s-a dus (missing song); 2. La Nistru, la mărjioară (soldiers' song); 3. La un colț de cafenea; 4. Să te duci, neică, te duci; 5. Călugărul din vechiul schit (folklorized romance); 6. Mândruțo, când te-i mărita (folklorized romance); 7. Volga - râu adânc și mare (sorrow songs); 8. Mi-am pus lâna-n furculiță (satirical song); 9. Juna Rodică (author: Vasile Alecsandri, Romanian writer); 10. Ș-asară fusei la clacă; 11. Dina mamei, Dina; 12. La război când am plecat (cântec de război - war song); 13. Amar m-am mai săturat; 14. Foaie verde de-un bujor; 15. Catiușa („Stă Catia la-nchisoare”).
