Item Description:

           Female singers sing solo or duo songs in Romanian. The creations are war songs (cântece de război), ballads (balade), sorrow songs (cântece de jale), love songs (cântece de dragoste), soldiers' songs (cântece de ostășie); alienation songs (cântece de înstrăinare) and propagandistic communist farm songs (cântece colhoznice). There are no musical instruments used. List of pieces: 1. Fie Hitler blestemat (cântec de război - war song); 2. Adio tu, cazarmă (cântec de ostășie - soldiers' song); 3. Cântecul streinului (cântec de înstrăinare - song of alienation); 4. Of, sărmana Marusică (ballad); 5. Of, inimă, inimă (cântec de jale - sorrow song); 6. La Nistru, la mărjioară; 7. Badea care-mi place mie (cântec de dragoste - love song); 8. Vântul iarba-nvăluiește (cântec colhoznic - fakelore song); 9. Printre snopi (cântec colhoznic - propagandistic communist farm song); 10. La 22 iunie (cântec de război - war song); 11. De-acasă când am plecat (cântec de înstrăinare - song of alienation); 12. Foaie verde de trei flori (Mi-i bărbătu băutori - ballad); 13. Am vreo câțiva copăcei (cântec colhoznic incomplet - propagandistic communist farm song unfinished).
